Today, after just 5 years of starting operations, Sahyadri Farms procures 100,000+ tonnes of tomatoes grown by more than 5,000 farmers on over 15,000 acres. Our tomatoes find ready demand as the key raw material for ketchup, paste, puree, soup and powder from domestic and global institutional customers.
The domestic and export market for pomegranates is expanding rapidly. India exports pomegranate to Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Pomegranate benefits from being a high value crop.
Sahyadri Farms is currently producing more than 5,000 tons on 2,000+ acres involving 1,500+ farmers. Sahyadri Farms offers packaged pomegranate fruit [whole] and arils under its own brand in India and overseas. The pomegranate peel waste from processing is utilised to make punicalagin & ellagic acid which find applications in cosmetic and pharma industries.
India is one of the world’s top mango growing countries producing 41% of the total world mango production. Sahyadri Farms has an end-to-end mango value chain thus making mango one of the major growth crops going forward. We process 15,000+ tonnes of mango on 2,000+ acres partnering with 1,500+ farmers. Sahyadri Farms is also present in the domestic supply of mangoes. The Sahyadri-branded mango varieties are fast gaining popularity in the domestic and export markets.
Sahyadri Farms exports sweet corn in various forms like cut corn, hand peel corn, corn on the cob etc. in various sizes and with flexible bulk and retail packaging options. Over 2500+ farmers produce more than 5,000 tonnes of corn across 6,000+ acres. With a focus on total traceability from sourcing to processing, packaging and beyond, all associated activities are carried out in an ultra-modern plant with the highest hygiene standards.
India is the world's leading producer of bananas with a share of around 25 percent in total output. Sahaydri works extensively with banana growing farmers to scale an end-to-end crop value chain. The company’s focus is to supply branded Sahyadri bananas in the domestic Indian market and continue exploring export avenues for the produce. We grow 25,000+ tonnes of bananas annually on over 850+ acres with the help of 800+ farmers.
India produced 15 million tonnes over 1.1 million hectares. Orange and lemon are amongst the most widely consumed fruits in India. Sahyadri Farms’ end-to-end value chain in citrus has seen it provide high-quality, juicy and residue-free citrus fruits for domestic and global institutional customers. Our fresh produce also has typical applications in food processing like juices, squashes, food ingredients etc. We process 15,000 tonnes of citrus fruits yearly from over 5,000 acres by partnering with over 2,000 farmers.
